Home in danger

If my home was in danger the first thing I would save would definitely be my dog. She would definitely be worth going through some fire. My phone would be second but I would probably already have that on me. Dixie would make herself impossible to be saved because she hates being carried and she would try to squirm away. She would definitely be the first thing to cross my mind if there was a fire in my house and we needed to get out.

It would be so sad if Dixie didn't make it out and I couldn't let that happen. She is so much fun and such a happy dog and she lightens up the mood of the house a lot of the time. She is a very smart dog but she would not be smart enough to escape something like a fire and that is why she would need to be saved. Dixie is a great dog that is definitely worth saving.

  1. It's good that you would think of others in an emergency instead of just yourself. I would agree that lives are way more important to save than objects, and it should always be your first priority.

  2. I agree that saving your dog is pretty important in a the case of a fire. I would probably save both my nieces since they are pretty young and would not be able to figure out how to escape a fire.

Thanksgiving break can be so annoying. We have so much homework and it stresses me out the entire break. I wish we could have a whole break with no homework. But I guess that is just too much to ask for. I get that we need to keep our minds refreshed sometimes but we get so much homework it does so much more than that.        Thanksgiving is also just not my favorite holiday in general. We have to all just sit together and eat and it is so boring. Thursday was definitely my least favorite day of the break. It isn't my moms favorite holiday because eating food we don't especially like isnt our favorite pastime. So this holiday gets on my nerves.

LSU beats Florida

Florida is one of the teams that I just can't stand. Their football team is bunch of arrogant guys who have more attitude than talent. I've been waiting for this game ever since last year when we lost on the 1 yard line. Watching the game this year I was so nervous and I just wanted us yo win so bad. We went up by 14 and I thought that we were just going to win like that and then before you know it it's 17-10 and they are driving down the field.      Then they scored and I started to think that we were going to lose. But then all of a sudden they missed the extra point and I felt rejoiced. We went on to win the game and I was so happy that even though Danny Etling had a terrible game, we still won. I was the happiest ever after an LSU game besides Alabama games when we win. Revenge has been served.

Narrative response

I think that my personal narrative is definitely a work in progress but so far it is pretty good. I think that the writing small groups were very helpful and I got good, positive feedback on my narrative. Was told that my narrative had good vivid detail and I was glad because I know that that is something important in a personal narrative. I think that if I continue to improve and build on what I already have then it will become a very good narrative.      I thought that the feedback I got on how to improve my narrative was even better. I was told to add dialogue which I am struggling with but I know that it will be a lot better. I was also told to describe what the best part about cross country was and I think that it will be an interesting direction for the narrative to go in instead of just naming all of the things that I like. I think that this feedback will make the difference in a good grade and a bad one.
