"Ughhhhh!" Michael groans watching the monumental disappointment that is the LSU game.      "I can't believe this is happening I thought we were going to be good." Johnathon sighs as he tries to make sense of what is happening.      "Our defense is doing terrible." Michael says. "I don't even want to watch this anymore!" said Johnathon .      "Do you think next game will be any better?" Michael asked. "It better be or else I'm going to stop watching these games!" Johnathon exclaimed.      "That makes two of us!" Michael said as he turned off the tv.

Narrative response

I think that my personal narrative is definitely a work in progress but so far it is pretty good. I think that the writing small groups were very helpful and I got good, positive feedback on my narrative. Was told that my narrative had good vivid detail and I was glad because I know that that is something important in a personal narrative. I think that if I continue to improve and build on what I already have then it will become a very good narrative.      I thought that the feedback I got on how to improve my narrative was even better. I was told to add dialogue which I am struggling with but I know that it will be a lot better. I was also told to describe what the best part about cross country was and I think that it will be an interesting direction for the narrative to go in instead of just naming all of the things that I like. I think that this feedback will make the difference in a good grade and a bad one.

Dear 12 year old

Don't quit something that you have started ever. It is something I have tried to make good on for my life and it is a value that is very important to me. It is something many of my coaches have preached and it is something I try to preach to the rest of my family. Quitting is something that seems so easy but it never pays off and is just the easy way out.      This is something that I recommend to a 12 year old because at that point in life everything starts to get harder. When everything gets harder, quitting seems so easy and like that is the best thing to do. The best thing to do I have found is almost never the easiest. If you sort something, you finish it no matter what it is. This is what I would consider to be the best advice that I can give at the time.

Mint Snowball

I could appreciate that Mint Snowball was very well written even though it wasn't my favorite thing to read. The narrative described a longing for something that the wrier had never had but yet so deeply desired. She describes the way it made her family feel and the way the rest of the town reacted to the special recipe of the mint snowball. She wants to taste this mint snowball so bad and she feels like she can't be complete until she has it.      Almost anyone can appreciate how well written this narrative was. It went over the background of the mint snowball, then it described the action, and then it describes her ideas on the events. Her word choice made the entire story flavor-filled. She was very descriptive on her emotions while describing what she thought about the whole thing. This narrative was very well written and almost picture-perfect.

Current Reading Book

The book that I am currently reading is Generation One by Pittacus Lore. It is the new book in the Lorien Legacies series and I m not very far into it yet. The last book ended with the Loriens beating the Mogadorians on the Earth. Towards the end of this war, many humans got legacies. legacies are the powers that the Loriens have. This book so far is describing how they react to/treat these new special humans. They are giving them special places to train and they will soon become soldiers by about the age of 15.      This series has been one of my favorite of all time but so far this isn't my favorite. The book usually switches telling the story from the different characters points of view. Usually I like that but the characters in this book do not seem to be as related yet and they all seem irrelevant. I don't like the way that they have not shown much of the old characters from the war that I had gotten attached too. I'm not that far into they book yet so hope

9/11

The terror attacks in 2001, on September 11, may have been the most devastating event in American history. These were four coordinated attacks by the terrorist group al-Quaeda. These attacks killed 2,996 people and injured over 6,000 others. This terror group hijacked planes and sent 2 of them into the north and south towers of the world trade center. A third plane crashed into the pentagon and lead to a partial collapse of the Western wall. The 4th plane crashed in Stonycreek township. These attacks were a shock to America.      All Americans watched these attacks with horror and shock and just didn't know what to do. Families were broken in a matter of seconds and they had to try and identify all of the dead bodies. This was the single deadliest incident for firefighters and law enforcement officials. The fourth plane that was supposed to hit the White House ended up missing because of the heroes in the plane that fought back against the terrorists. All in all this was
